All training is done in your dog’s real environment, where behavior actually happens—so the results carry over into everyday life.

We do not offer board & train, protection/bite work, or “quick fix” programs. The focus is on building a lasting partnership, not temporary results.

  • Getting started is simple and structured so you know exactly what to expect.

    1. Schedule a consultation

    2. We evaluate your dog, goals, and lifestyle

    3. A customized training plan is recommended

    4. Sessions begin and we build from there

Each session is designed to give you clear, practical tools you can use immediately. Training is a collaborative process—you’re learning just as much as your dog.

  • Training with Pure Freedom K9 is built on trust, clarity, and teamwork—not control or quick fixes.

The goal isn’t just to teach commands. It’s to help your dog understand how to navigate the world with confidence, while giving you the skills to communicate clearly and consistently.

My approach blends structure and reward-based training in a way that is fair, thoughtful, and tailored to each dog. No two dogs are the same, and their training shouldn’t be either.

This is real-world training for real life—so your dog listens not just in a session, but at home, on walks, and out in the world.

  • Working together is a hands-on, guided experience focused on building a strong, functional relationship between you and your dog.

    You’ll learn:

    • How your dog thinks and communicates

    • How to create structure without stress

    • How to handle real-life situations with confidence

Most clients come in feeling frustrated or unsure. Over time, that shifts into clarity, confidence, and trust—not just in their dog, but in themselves as a handler.

The end goal is a calm, well-mannered dog and a partnership that feels natural, not forced.

  • In most cases, yes.

Dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds can learn with the right structure and communication. Whether your dog is a young puppy, an older dog, or dealing with behavioral challenges, training can be adapted to meet them where they are.

Common areas we work through include:

    • Reactivity and over-arousal

    • Fear, anxiety, or lack of confidence

    • Leash pulling and poor manners

    • Puppy development and socialization

    • Multi-dog household dynamics

If your dog has special needs, medical considerations, or unique circumstances, those are taken into account when building your training plan.

  • Training is primarily conducted in-home and within your local environment, so your dog learns where it matters most.

    Service areas include:

    • Los Angeles County

    • Kern County

    • Ventura County

If you are outside of the standard service area, options may still be available depending on distance and scheduling. In some cases, virtual guidance or adjusted session formats can be offered.

  • Training programs are structured based on your dog’s needs, goals, and the level of support required.

Rather than one-size-fits-all sessions, programs are designed to provide enough time and consistency to create real, lasting results.

Payment plans are available, and multiple payment methods are accepted.

All details—including pricing, structure, and expectations—are reviewed during the consultation so you can make an informed decision before getting started.

  • Training requires consistency and commitment, which is why clear policies are in place to support both you and your dog’s progress.

All clients are required to sign a training agreement prior to starting. This outlines expectations, scheduling, and program structure.

Because training is a service and time is reserved specifically for you, programs are non-refundable once started.

If circumstances change—such as relocation or rehoming—options may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

The goal is always to be fair, transparent, and supportive while maintaining the integrity of the training process.
